Housing prices in the GGH have risen dramatically in the decade, but why?  Are greenbelt and growth plan policies restricting greenfield land supply and driving up land markets and home prices? Or can intensification policies encourage more affordable and family oriented housing supply in hot market locations?
Join Dr. Markus Moos of the University of Waterloo School of Planning and Professor David Amborski, School of Urban and Regional Planning, Director Urban Research and Land Development, Ryerson University, as they debate the housing affordability issues in the region and its causes with industry insights by panelists Pamela Blais, Principal, Metropole Consulting and Russell Matthew, Partner, Hemson Consulting.
