JAN 28 2015 - Pan Am Village
With the 2015 Pan Am Games less than a year away, construction is nearing completion on the massive new Athlete’s Village in the West Donlands east of downtown Toronto. While the Village will become the temporary home of 10,000 athletes, coaches and team officials during the summer of 2015, it will serve an even bigger purpose as a thriving new urban community when the games conclude. Our panel will take an in depth look into the planning and development of this project, including what was learned from past experiences in Vancouver, and also delve into the post-game uses of the Village.
