ULI Toronto’s Members volunteered at the Evergreen Brickworks, to help with maintaining the landscaped areas on the grounds. Members and guests rolled up their sleeves and worked together to ”build soil” – a process to add nutrients and stabilize soil to reduce soil erosion and promote healthier plants. Everyone had a fun time working together and many felt proud to help Evergreen improve the natural environment. To top this off, the late spring weather was ideal for working outdoors and enjoying the Don Valley’s landscape.
Whether you are a member, a young leader or a student, the Community Stewardship program within ULI Toronto is a great opportunity to meet others, expand your networking circle with the members of ULI Toronto, and give back to the community.
