Event Recap: Brickworks Winter Preparation

Thank you to everyone that attended our Community Stewardship program, which took place at the Evergreen Brickworks on Thursday October 25th. We were lucky enough to have excellent weather, and were given a tour of the facility and grounds prior to assisting in their gardening and stewardship program. We learned that Brickworks has a focus on native plants, and that our volunteering helps to ensure their grounds were well maintained. Event Recap: The Intensification of Downtowns in the 905

From Suburb to “Huburb” The “905” regions of Durham, Halton, Peel, and York are among the fastest growing regions in Ontario. Making up over a quarter of Ontario’s population, these four regions account for half the annual population growth in the province.
