A model for the 21st-century urban experience, Hudson Yards connects spaces to people with an unprecedented mix of buildings, parks, utilities and public spaces that combine to form a connected, responsive, clean, reliable and efficient neighborhood. The site was designed in collaboration with a world-class collection of architects and designers, including Diller Scofidio + Renfro; Elkus Manfredi Architects; Foster + Partners; Heatherwick Studio; Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates; Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects; Rockwell Group; and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Upon completion, an estimated 125,000 people daily are expected to live, work, dine, shop, study, stroll or sightsee at this 28- acre neighborhood which will include more than 18 million square feet of commercial and residential space, along with more than 100 shops, approximately 4,000 residences, affordable housing, The Shed, 14 acres of public open space, a 750-seat public school, the Equinox Hotel, and a first-of-its-kind microgrid and co-gen plant. Focusing on sustainability throughout the site, Hudson Yards was designated Manhattan’s first-ever LEED® GOLD Neighborhood Development and has already achieved WiredScore certification.
