    PwC and ULI's Emerging Trends in Real Estate is a highly-regarded and widely-read forecast report in NorthAmerica.     Aliyah Mohamed

    Director, Investment Banking, TD Securities

    Aliyah is a Managing Director in TD Securities' Real Estate Investment Banking group based in Toronto. Aliyah has 15 years of experience advising clients, most recently in the real estate sector, on a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings and equity and debt, public and private offerings. To date, she has advised on more than $30 billion of mergers and acquisitions. Aliyah was a recipient of the 2020 Women in Capital Markets Champion of Change Award which recognizes excellence in leadership, commitment and creativity in advancing equality in the Canadian finance industry. Aliyah was also the 2018 recipient of the Women in Capital Markets Rising Star Award which recognizes high-performing female professionals whose entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and social responsibility have made a unique contribution to the capital markets industry. Aliyah holds an MBA (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BSc in Neuroscience and Math from Dalhousie University.

    Miriam Gurza

    PwC LLP

    Miriam is Managing Director and PwC Canada’s National Real Estate Consulting Leader and Vice President of PricewaterhouseCoopers Real Estate Inc.. She is currently spearheading the data analytics initiative with a focus on the real estate industry. Miriam brings a unique perspective and experience in data analytics, financial investment, and real estate systems. She has been involved in reviews of all classes of real property including office, industrial, retail, residential, hotel, and land. Throughout her career, Miriam has provided advisory services to public sector entities, pension funds, institutions, developers, property owners, property managers and asset managers. Miriam’s expertise is focused on a fundamental understanding of real estate dynamics, economics and how data can be used to inform the highest and best use of real property. Her principal areas of focus include: data analytics informed highest and best use analysis / real estate asset optimization, real estate strategic reviews (organizational, operational, process, and target operating models), real estate valuation, acquisition / disposition due diligence and real estate transaction management. Miriam is also a senior advisor on one of the most highly regarded and widely read forecast reports in the real estate industry. "Emerging Trends in Real Estate", undertaken jointly by PwC and the Urban Land Institute.

    Ray Wong

    Altus Group

    Ray is the Vice President of Data Operations for Altus Group’s Data Solutions team. Overseeing 60+ researchers across Canada, Ray’s primary responsibility is to ensure data collection is all encompassing, reliable and accurate and that it adheres to the Altus Group data governance guidelines. Ray works closely with both internal and external clients to ensure the information meets their needs and that it is both accurate and timely. He also regularly presents on key market trends to clients and at industry events.

    Geoff Smith

    Chief Executive Officer, EllisDon Corporation

    Geoff Smith is the President & CEO of EllisDon, an employee-owned, $5 billion-a-year construction services company that has grown exponentially beyond its modest origins in London, Ontario. With over 5,000 salaried and hourly employees across fifteen national and international offices, EllisDon has become a leader in every sector and nearly every facet of the construction industry. Geoff earned his law degree from the University of Toronto and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1981. After joining EllisDon in 1983, he quickly gained experience across various management positions, including Field Operations, Legal and Labour Relations and Executive Leadership. In 1996, at the height of a trying time at EllisDon, Geoff was named President and CEO. Through a redefinition of the traditional construction offering, Geoff reinvented EllisDon as a ‘Cradle To Grave’ Services Provider with guaranteed performance outcomes through its Capital Services, Facilities Management, and Sustainable Buildings Divisions. EllisDon is determined to lead the coming disruption in the construction sector, having recently created pioneering initiatives in Energy Management, Smart Buildings Software and Data Analytics, all of which now lead the industry.

    Renee Gomes

    First Gulf Corporation

    Renée is a Registered Professional Planner and Chief Development Officer & VP, Development at First Gulf Corporation. She is a champion of creative, multisectoral approaches to city building and has led many strategies for advancing public policy objectives through commercially successful real estate projects. Her experience includes complex master planning and municipal approvals initiatives in Toronto’s waterfront, across the Greater Toronto Area, and in England. She is a Board Director of Evergreen and a member of ULI Toronto’s Management Committee. She is also lecturer in the University of Toronto’s Graduate Planning Program.

    Jon Love

    Chief Executive Officer, KingSett Capital, Inc.

    Jon Love is the founder and CEO of KingSett Capital, Canada’s leading private equity real estate investment business co-investing with institutional and ultra-high net worth clients seeking to provide premium risk weighted returns through its various fund strategies. Founded in 2002, KingSett has raised $12 billion of equity for its Growth, Income, Urban, Mortgage and Affordable Housing strategies. KingSett owns interests in a $15 billion portfolio of assets. Jon was formerly President and CEO of Oxford Properties Group and serves on the Board of Directors of the Chief Executives Organization, is a member of the Business Council of Canada and YPO and is a member of the Order of Canada. Jon graduated with an Honours degree in Business Administration from Western University’s Ivey Business School, where he is an Emeritus Advisory Board member and in 2016 was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Western University.

    Andy Warren

    Real Estate Research Consultant, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

    Andrew Warren, Andy, currently serves as the PwC’s Director of Real Estate Research. As the Director of Real Estate Research, and is responsible for monitoring all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, regulatory changes and operational developments. For the past seven years, Andy has led PwC’s participation in the development and production of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate publication. Andy is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Andy also forecasts market performance for PwC’s “Real Estate Investor Survey”. Andy has over 30 years of experience in all aspect of commercial and residential real estate research. Andy has performed and managed real estate fundamental analysis and forecasting, portfolio construction, and buy/sell decisions for both debt and equity clients. Prior to assuming his current role, Andy served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Research for Principal Global Investors, a top 10 institutional real estate manager in the U.S. At Principal, Andy held a progressive level of analyst and management positions over his 25 year career and served as a voting and advisory member on a multiple real estate debt and equity investment funds. Andy has earned the CFA designation and is a Counselor of Real Estate. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute Research Forum as well as a participating member of ICSC, NCREIF, NAIOP, the Appraisal Institute and the CCIM institute.     Allison Wolfe

    Chief Financial Officer, Oxford Properties Group

    As the Chief Financial Officer and Global Head of Portfolio Management, Ms. Wolfe leads leads a team of over 200 professionals responsible for capital allocation, finance, strategy, research, tax, treasury and risk. Ms. Wolfe is a member of Oxford’s Executive Management Team and co-chairs Oxford’s Investment Committee. Allison has served on several OMERS enterprise wide committees related to third party capital, strategic planning, risk management, technology, human resources, process excellence and new markets Ms. Wolfe has over 18 years of real estate investment, finance and advisory experience and has worked on over $50 billion of investment and financing transactions in Canada, US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Prior to joining Oxford in 2010, Allison was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley where she worked in both principle investing and real estate advisory in New York, San Francisco and Toronto. Allison holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) from Queen’s University.
