Join us on International Women’s Day for a facilitated workshop on allyship and the intersections between race, gender, sexuality, parenting, etc. You will learn how you can begin to take action towards being an ally in very practical steps, beyond reading articles and raising your awareness! The workshop will include a breakout session where you'll have the opportunity to share your stories on allyship.
The workshop will cover topics of:
- Allyship models;
- Intersectionality (e.g., race, gender, sexuality, parenting - all against the backdrop of the global pandemic and COVID-19);
- Recognizing microaggressions; and
- What you can start doing differently today.
