    WLI Toronto View from the Top, one of the 2018 WLI Hines Innovation Grant Winners, is a new webinar program featuring an interactive platform for participants to exchange ideas with ULI members across North America.
     
    Susan Marlow, Principal at Stantec in Nashville, TN will share her tips and strategies to get where she is today in this first of a series in 2019. This webinar will be helpful for those in, or entering, the STEM field as well as those looking to take their career to the next level.
     
    From a playroom from her home to an office complex, Susan built and grew her company into an $8 million-plus business, Smart Data Strategies. Since then, Susan has had an astonishing career in GIS including sitting as Chairman of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Panel for Integrating Geospatial Technologies into the ROW Process. She has also testified before Congress on parcels, federal geospatial coordination and geospatial workforce development.

    Susan has over 28 years of experience in geospatial technology and information management. Before joining Stantec, she was the founder and CEO of Smart Data Strategies. She’s provided oversight on the implementation of GIS and mapping in over 200 municipalities and jurisdictions in over 39 states across the US.
