Join us for an exciting tour of Greystone Village – an award winning, mixed-use master-planned community near Main Street in Old Ottawa East. This 26-acre former brownfield site is an innovative case study of both infill development at a community scale, and implementation of new urbanist design within an established community. The tour will provide insight into the planning and development of the community including: the business case behind the project; the environmental remediation of the site; and the key design principals and sustainable elements of the master plan – all factors in the community receiving LEED® ND v4 SILVER Certification – the first in project in Ontario to achieve this designation.
