ULI Toronto: Members Only Tour: An Icon of Modernism - Behind the Scenes at the Toronto-Dominion Centre
ULI Toronto invites members to an exclusive tour of one of Canada’s most iconic modernist landmarks, the Toronto-Dominion Centre. Designed by internationally renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, this architectural masterpiece transformed Toronto’s skyline and set a new standard for corporate urban design in the 1960s.
This member-only tour offers rare access to TD Bank’s 54th-floor executive boardroom, a space preserved almost exactly as it was originally envisioned. Participants will explore the minimalist elegance of International Style architecture, take in sweeping panoramic views of the city, and gain insights into the building’s design legacy and influence on downtown development. The tour will also feature a look at TD’s distinguished corporate art collection showcased within the original office interiors as well as a discussion of the ongoing building revitalization efforts.
