I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is looking forward to the fall season.
Over the summer we have begun to prepare another event filled calendar for the next few months. You may have seen the recent survey which was sent to our members and non members asking for your feedback on our District Councils activities. We hope that you had a chance to complete it. If you would like to receive a copy please send an email to: [email protected].
The fall is a busy time for ULI programming. As the largest of the institute’s events and one of the industry’s premier meetings, the annual ULI Fall Meeting routinely draws up to 7,000 members and guests, including internationally renowned land use experts representing all disciplines. The major theme for the conference will be the Building Healthy Places Initiative which was recently announced by ULI National.
The Fall Meeting will be taking place November 5th through 8th in Chicago. We encourage local members to join their colleagues and experience a ULI Fall Meeting. For more information, please visit: www.ulifall.org.
Member discounts are available and early bird registration fees are in effect until October 11th.
Locally, our schedule will begin with our October 10th regional focused program: ‘Redevelopment of Transit Corridors in the 905’ followed by the Annual Real Estate Trends event on November 12th. Registration for both of these programs is available on our website at toronto.uli.org.
Our membership continues to grow and we are now at 615 members. If you are interested in joining our organization as a volunteer, a sponsor or a member please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you,
Robert Millward
