Letter from ULI Toronto Chair, Mark Noskiewicz
Greetings from ULI Toronto. I hope that as you read this spring has finally arrived!
May 1, 2013
I am extremely delighted to have been chosen as the Executive Director for the Toronto District Council of the Urban Land Institute. Having been a member of ULI for nearly 20 years, I appreciate the impact ULI can have for cities and for regions.
Over the last seven years ULI Toronto has done a great job in growing its presence in Toronto and we are uniquely positioned to bring about thoughtful, meaningful and responsible solutions to manage growth. We plan on changing the conversation from ‘study’ to practical and actionable ‘practices’.
Our District Council has a dedicated group of volunteers that are involved with our numerous committees. We plan on expanding our presence within the city of Toronto and beyond. We are broadening the scope of our activities and the visibility of our role into the 905 through our programming and our events. This is a very exciting time for ULI Toronto and I look forward to hearing from our members on how ULI can continue to contribute to the dialogue in advancing our mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land in Toronto and beyond.
