ULI Toronto’s Mentorship Program
The 2025 – 2026 ULI Toronto Mentorship Program launches in September and it is time for interested mentors and mentees to apply!
If you are a young professional keen to build your network and hone your leadership skills or a seasoned expert wanting to make an impact, this program is for you!
The ULI Toronto Mentorship Program provides a high-quality, safe, and inclusive environment for ULI Toronto members to share experience, knowledge, and advice governed by trust, discretion, and open communication.
The program includes monthly one-on-one sessions, three in-person networking social events plus NEW this year, we’ve added the option for participants to gather in informal regional Mentee-Mentor Meet-ups.

MISSION OF MENTORSHIP
The ULI Toronto Mentorship Program provides high-quality, safe and inclusive mentorship environment governed by trust, discretion and open communication for ULI Toronto Members.
The Mission of the program is to:
- Build Intentional Relationships: By providing a unique opportunity for current and future leaders to build rewarding, life-long relationships while collectively exploring the past, present and future of their careers.
- Reflect the Diversity of our Membership and the City: By providing personalized mentorship experiences from a wide range of senior real estate professionals, reflecting strong, confident identities with deep levels of expertise, experience and thought.
- Assist with Career Development: By empowering participants to be more proactive in identifying, planning and achieving their career goals while providing learning opportunities and resources to help participants build their professional networks within our industry.
- Strengthen the Industry: By supporting the inclusion, retention, development and advancement of future leaders in city building, while infusing the industry with new ideas and perspectives.
- Impact the Discourse: By facilitating trusted relationships that encourage Mentor-and-Mentee interactions as well as ‘reverse’ mentoring; we support mutually beneficial opportunities to learn and ideate.
- Become a ULI Gateway Experience: By serving as a bridge for program participants to engage with ULI more broadly, by encouraging involvement across the organization and promoting attendance at ULI events.

CORE COMMITMENTS
The Mentorship Program creates a valuable opportunity for building relationships between young and veteran leaders that provides a unique growth experience that enhances both their professional careers and personal developments. To achieve this, it is critical that all participants adhere to our core commitments:
- The 2025-2026 Mentorship Program will run from September 2025 – July 2026 (11 Months).
- Mentors and Mentees will meet on a monthly basis throughout the duration of the program.
- Mentors and Mentees will attempt to attend 100% of the program’s events to support meaningful connection and engagement.
- Mentors and Mentees will foster trusting relationships and keep all conversations confidential.
- Violations of confidentiality are a serious breach of the Mentor-Mentee relationship and, at the discretion of ULI, may lead to immediate suspension from the Program.
- Mentees understand that the Mentorship Program is first and foremost an opportunity for professionals to share valuable insights and network within the sector.
- The Program Is not designed to solicit or provide job opportunities.
PROGRAM COST & CRITERIA
Mentee
- Must be a ULI member – if you are not already a member, sign up for a membership here: ULI Membership
- Mentee registrants must have at least two (2) years of relevant full-time work experience prior to the time of application.
- We do not consider full/part-time students in undergraduate/graduate programs unless they have met the relevant working experience criteria of 2+ years.
Program cost: $250 + HST
Registration does not guarantee entrance into the Program. Entrance into the Program will depend on the number of mentor-mentee registrants and will be based on a first come, first served basis.Full refunds will be provided to any mentee not accepted into this year’s Program.
Mentor
- Must be a ULI member – if you are not already a member, sign up for a membership here: ULI Membership
- Mentors must have 10+ years of experience in the Real Estate and Development Industry.
- No prior mentorship experience is required.
- Mentees will have at least 2 years experience in an industry related field
Program cost: $0 (No Cost)
2025 – 2026 Timeline & Structure
The ULI Mentorship Program is centered around building one-on-one relationships between one mentee and one mentor. Each pair will meet monthly over the course of the year. In addition to the traditional one-on-one format, the Program includes three in-person events for all participants. For the 2025 cycle, there will be an optional series of additional social events organized around different geographical areas within the GTA.
The Mentorship Program requires a minimum commitment by mentors and mentees to meet one-on-one, once per month, for the duration of the program from September to July.

- October 2025: Mentor-Mentee Pairings Confirmed
- November 2025: Mentor-Mentee Social Networking Meet-ups
- February 2026: Program Check-in + Social
- June 2026: Wrap-up Social + Networking Event
