WLI Reset
About WLI and RESET:
RESET emerged in the wake of the pandemic as a responsive initiative to bridge the widening gap faced by marginalized populations due to COVID-induced restrictions. This series stands as a symbolic symposium, a convergence of myriad minds from diverse sectors, aimed at sharing profound lessons learned, amplifying the visibility of these marginalized groups, and collectively formulating best practices. The primary objective is the continual pursuit of forging more equitable and inclusive communities.
The Reset subcommittee is focused on addressing systemic barriers that are faced by women and marginalized people in accessing opportunities, work/life balance, equitable economic benefit, and inclusive agency to share and steward the cities we live in.
The focus of the subcommittee is two fold: to organize an annual symposium that addresses barriers to opportunities; and, to create and implement an action plan for eroding said barriers.
