Thank you to everyone that attended our Community Stewardship program, which took place at the Evergreen Brickworks on Thursday October 25th.

We were lucky enough to have excellent weather, and were given a tour of the facility and grounds prior to assisting in their gardening and stewardship program. We learned that Brickworks has a focus on native plants, and that our volunteering helps to ensure their grounds were well maintained. Volunteers learned how to identify native plants versus weeds, which emerged into a discussion about low impact, naturalized gardening practices.
