What is the Pathways to Inclusion Initiative?
The Pathways to Inclusion initiative was created by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) to increase the participation of equity-deserving communities who are currently underrepresented in the real estate development, land use, and city-building fields.

The Pathways to Inclusion Initiative will provide up to 25 industry professionals a scholarship to participate in the ULI Spring Meeting to be held in Toronto from May 16-18, 2023. The annual ULI Spring Meeting brings together over 4,000 real estate development, land use and city building professionals from around the world to discuss, learn and share their experiences and challenges in building sustainable and equitable urban communities in the 21st century. This scholarship also includes a one-year ULI membership which will continue to provide additional opportunities to reinforce access and engagement as a ULI member throughout the year.

ULI Membership and Spring Meeting registration are valued at more than $2,000 each.

Who is Eligible to Participate? 
The Pathways to Inclusion initiative is designed to increase the participation of groups who are underrepresented in the land use and real estate fields, defined as:
•    Racialized People
•    People with Disabilities (Visible and non-visible)
•    Indigenous People (First Nations, Inuit and Métis)
•    LGBTQ2+ People
•    People of Limited Economic Status

All Pathways to Inclusion Applicants must:
•    Live in the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) region
•    Be able to attend the ULI Spring Meeting in Toronto from May 16 – 18, 2023
•    Attend all quarterly CBRE webinars
•    Meet with CBRE mentors once a quarter
•    Attend at least three District Council events and activities by the end of their participant class
•    Take at least one ULI Learning course (on demand) by the end of the year
