Four new bridges will connect downtown Toronto to the future Villiers Island, the new island that will be created by extending the Don River through the Port Lands. The first of these bridges opened in October 2022.
On June 28th, Join ULI, CreateTO and Waterfront Toronto on a unique tour behind the construction fences for one of the largest and most transformative infrastructure projects in Canada; the Port Lands Flood Protection Project and Villiers island. Take an exclusive walk across new bridges that will connect downtown Toronto to the future Villiers Island and enter the new island created by extending the Don River through the Port Lands. Follow up with an opportunity to meet and greet the team after at the Keating Channel Pub.
