With up to $300M of funding up for grabs, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Housing Supply Challenge invites citizens, stakeholders, and experts from across Canada to propose innovative solutions to the barriers that limit the creation of new housing.

Through several unique rounds, the Challenge aims to address obstacles to housing supply and affordability, enhance community engagement, cultivate collaboration and partnerships, and inspire others to scale or adapt ideas for “Canada-wide impact”.

Officially launching on June 9th, Round 2 of the Housing Supply Challenge, Getting Started: Pre-development Processes will focus on creating implementable and local solutions that improve pre-development of housing that is affordable.
