Realization of successful transit-oriented communities requires alignment across many government and private sector stakeholders, arranged in just the right order, at just the right time. In the face of rising housing, affordability, climate, productivity, and well-being crises, many jurisdictions should look outside for successful community models and processes to rapidly scale and shape the next generation of transit-oriented communities.

Join us to hear from Stephen Moore, one of Australia’s preeminent urban designers, as he shares learnings from leading place-led communities across Australia. Stephen will share how Australia is delivering enviable TOCs and their recipe to success, including a focus on place, engagement and governance, as well as robust and scalable design excellence.

Following a short presentation by Stephen, a global panel will engage in conversation - sharing their experience and lessons learned in various markets that may address challenges facing Ontario and other jurisdictions today.
