The ULI Summer Social is one of the most coveted events for Toronto city builders to revel and connect. The annual bash was held at the sprawling outdoor patio of The Addisons Residence, which was designed to evoke the experience of being at an upscale house party. Now in its 8th year running, the July 12th event was sponsored by Allied, BA Group, Baker and Giannone Petricone. The supporting sponsors were Bousfields, Diamond Schmitt, GBCA, SGL, ZToday, and Cadillac Fairview. Harris Sheaffer LLP, Hullmark and WeWork were bar sponsors
Originally conceived as a gathering for the ULI Young Leaders Initiative, the popular summer soiree allows young professionals to meet industry veterans in a relaxing environment. Architects, developers, designers, realtors, lawyers, planners, and financiers alike rubbed shoulders and reveled in their shared affinity for city building. Complete with an outdoor fireplace, cabanas, and two fully loaded bars, attendees built new relationships and fostered existing ones. The gathering lasted late into the night as the overhead string lights illuminated the backyard patio once the sun had set.
