TORONTO (Jan 21, 2022) – The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Toronto is excited to announce a series of local leadership changes to its Management Board.
Jennifer Khan, Head of Inclusive Diversity at EllisDon joined as Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee replacing Christine Chea, MCIP RPP, Senior Manager, Development, GTA Urban, Mattamy Homes.
Clarence Qian, Director of Development at Distrikt, Rotman MBA Candidate, U of T and Chantal Lee. Master of Science – MS Planning U of T join us as inaugural Co-Chairs of the Student Committee.
John Lilly, Investor, Render Developments joins as Co-Chair of the Membership Committee, succeeding Terry Olynyk, President and Managing Director, Canada at Multiplex and Samantha Martin, Manager, Communications and Marketing at CreateTO will replace Mary Castel Partner, Director, Business Development and Communications at Urban Strategies Inc.
ULI Toronto’s membership has grown significantly and in the past year we have convened more than 18,858 industry professionals online, 51% higher than our pre-pandemic audience and have attracted over 27,000 attendees through a remarkable 138 events combined during the pandemic period. Under the direction of ULI Toronto Executive Director Richard Joy, the new leadership will be tasked with continuing to build upon these successes, and leading ULI Toronto’s members and prospects through the region’s reopening.
